Where it all began…
Lange Oil first began in 1982 when Ken and Marlene Lange purchased Holmen Oil. Bulk petroleum was the core of the business which served many local farmers and home-owners. Darren and Tamara joined the business in 1993 when Lange Oil upgraded from a full-service gas station to a self-serve convenience store. In 2003, Lange’s changed from the Texaco brand to Shell and remains that today.

Ken and Marlene Lange “Grandpa and Grandma”
Since 2003, both technology and consumer demand has evolved, creating many upgrades and remodels to suit the changing times. Darren and Tamara’s son, Mitch, has joined them and is bringing a youthful insight to Lange’s. “I am so pleased that we have had the opportunity to serve this community for so many years. Our children worked beside us as well as many other youth from the area.” Tamara says, reflecting on the years gone by.
Though many changes have taken place, one thing remains the same…their appreciation for their customers and staff! They look forward to serving their small town community for many years to come!
